Subjectivity (:(

All the while I have been thinking that certain qualities like kindness, maturity, strength are traits that can be defined but off late I'm just understanding that whatever quality/trait we say someone possess is actually our perspective of them being so.

For a person who is been starving, even if someone gives them  left over food, they find it kind.
Is it a kind act ..?

For someone who's been afraid of even insects, finding someone who has a pet might seem like an act of bravery but think of someone who tames wild animals in a zoo.
Bravery ..?

For someone who has been fighting for chocolates, someone giving away their chocolate might seem like a sacrificial act. But think of the family member of someone who's in the war front..
Sacrifice..?

Sensitive

Matured

Emotional

Open minded

Generous

Everything we see is only because we see it that way. May be it's not the way someone else might see.

So when we say we like a particular quality in someone, it just means that they fall under our definition of that quality!

Are we happy?

All the while we have been conditioned to believe,
- Working hard on something and finally being able to achieve it makes us happy.
- Pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones and accomplishing what majority thought is impossible makes us happy.
- Being the topper of something makes us happy.
- Getting to a specific shape makes us happy.
- Buying an iPhone/ car/ house makes us happy.
Plus all those things which we believe makes us happy.

When I think of the above, was just wondering are we trying to be Happy or Proud?

Is pride synonymous with happiness?

Does that mean, we should feel that we are worthy of happiness only when we feel proud about ourselves?
If that's the case, why are we unable to be proud about ourselves for being better than yesterday?
Is it because no one other than us  knows about it ?
Are we trying to be happy or make someone happy?
If the intention is not to make someone else happy, are we trying to prove someone?
Why do we have to prove them ?
Does their validation really mean that much to us ?
Is it more important than how we see ourselves ?
If so, even if we succeed, will that happiness last ?

Just thinking...

Love❤️

When you think about love, don't forget to put yourself at the top of the list.

Love yourself. Celebrate yourself. Live for yourself.

Dance, sing, jump, travel, cook, gift yourself or do what makes you happy. If you spend this life impressing others you will regret that sooner or later.

The more concerned you are about yourself, you attract the things you deserve. Eventually you will start understanding yourself and become a better you.

Be focused on how you see yourself rather than how others look at you.

Strive to be the best version of yourself physically, mentally and emotionally so that you can look upto yourself for motivation whenever you feel down.

Be you, the best you because you can love yourself and embrace others who are in need of love❤️

Loving others is not a herculean task!

According to me, Love is nothing but the little acts of kindness, empathy, understanding, forgiveness, small words of appreciation and those tiny efforts which brings about a smile in someone's face.

I'm not asking you to gift a smart phone to everyone you meet but you can definitely gift them a smile :)

You'll never know how that smile can turn their day around. That satisfaction is indescribable!

Love people unconditionally. Let not their actions affect your love towards them for true love is the one which is unperturbed.

The moment you start expecting something in return, it becomes conditional and loses it's purity. Love is supposed to bind people and not restrict them.

Love in it's unconditional form can only bring this about.

I happened to listen to a speech by Mahatria in which he puts forth such an amazing thought about love and it is as follows,

''People do love us, but they do not know to love us the way we want to be loved. They can only love us the way they understand love.''

Love others without judging them. Don't hate anybody for we never know what is happening in their lives and what they are going through.

Never undermine the value of anybody. Treat everyone well even those who don't treat you well.

If you mistreat them and there comes a day where you won't be able to see them again, that day will be a total mess. Regrets overrule you. You can't forgive yourself for you can't even correct your mistakes.  Don't push yourself to that point in life where you will hate yourself. I don't think there is a worst punishment than being unable to forgive yourself!

Love yourself and love everyone for being surrounded by love is the best thing that can happen in life.

Love is the cure, it is indeed magic.💫

Love makes life beautiful.💞

Thanks for stopping by to reiterate love in your life.
